IN 2018 AS A FRESHMAN: Played in all 14 games as a freshman at quarterback ... Had an outstanding first season as a Blazer backing up Harlon Hill runner-up Rogan Wells ... Went 22 of 39 passing for 388 yards and eight touchdowns and two interceptions ... Had 41 carries for 445 yards and seven touchdowns for the season ... The most memorable was a 53-yard scamper to end the first half in the Gulf South Conference championship game against West Georgia in the regular season finale ... His 78 yards on four carries in the game marked a season-high, while he tossed a season-high 113 yards and two touchdowns against Shorter ... He had 472 all-purpose yards for the season and returned two punt returns for 27 yards, including a 25-yarder against Bowie State in the playoffs ... He and Wells hooked up for a toss and pass as Durham passed to wells for a 25-yard touchdown in the national championship game against Ferris State.
