AS A JUNIOR IN 2012: Earned Honorable Mention All-America, First Team All-Super Region 2 and First Team All-Gulf South Conference honors while starting 13 of 14 games ... Missed only the Fort Valley State game September 8 due to injury ... Completed 218-of-338 passes for 2,710 yards and 26 touchdown ... Also rushed 100 times for 350 yards and 11 scores ... The 26 passing touchdowns tied for the ninth-best single season in school history ... Earned Gulf South Conference Player of the Week honors on October 28 and November 4 ... Completed 20-of-23 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another score at Shorter October 25 for the first award ... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Played in nine games, with three starts ... Missed the Newberry contest Sept. 17 while starting against West Alabama Oct. 15, at Delta State Oct. 22 and versus West Georgia Oct. 29 ... Completed 77-of-135 passes for 948 yards and eight touchdowns, against three interceptions, while carrying the ball 51 times for 207 yards and three scores ... Entered the game at Ouachita Baptist Oct. 8 after starter Austen Roberts was injured late in the first quarter and proceeded to complete 20-of-29 passes for 424 yards and four touchdowns ... Earned GSC Player of the Week honors as the performance tied for the ninth-best passing performance in VSU history ... Also carried the ball eight times for 22 yards in the contest for the fifth-highest total offensive output ever by a Blazer ... Completed a 77 yard pass to Seantavious Jones for a touchdown in the contest, tied for the 10th-longest reception in school history ... Completed 10-of-20 passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns against North Alabama Nov. 12 before leaving the game with an injury in early in the fourth quarter ... Also rushed for 68 yards on 11 carries in the game ... Had 10 carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns while completing 13-of-27 passes for 136 yards and a score at Delta State ... Enjoyed a season-best 27 yard run for a touchdown in that game ... Ran for a touchdown and passed for another against West Georgia Oct. 29.

PRE-VALDOSTA STATE: Started his freshmen season at Coffeyville Community College ... Appeared in 11 games while leading the club to a 6-5 record ... Completed 193-of354 passes, a completion percentage of 54.5 percent ... Threw 20 touchdowns against just eight interceptions ... Passed for 2,393 yards, an average of 217.5 yards per game ... Rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, on 11 carries, while passing for 175 yards and two scores in his collegiate debut ...
