VALDOSTA, Ga. – Former Valdosta State football standout and Blazer Hall of Famer Kenny Moore II hosted his annual youth football camp June 13, 2026, at Lowndes High School through his Love One Foundation.

A Valdosta native and graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta State, Moore II founded the Love One Foundation in 2022. Since its inception, the organization has made a significant impact throughout the community. Following Hurricane Helene, the foundation provided approximately 13,000 meals to affected residents. Moore II also hosts free annual youth football camps and organized the Love1 Celebrity Softball Game in 2024, bringing the Valdosta community together for a day of fun and fellowship.

This year's camp marked the seventh football camp or clinic Moore II has hosted in Valdosta and the fifth since 2020, as no camps were held in 2020 or 2021. The event also drew a record turnout, with more than 350 children ages 7-17 participating.

The 2026 camp marked the first partnership between the Love One Foundation and Valdosta State football. Additional community partners included Greater Valdosta United Way, Legacy Behavioral Health, the American Diabetes Association and Moody Air Force Base. Each organization provided resources focused on mental and physical health, while the American Diabetes Association also offered free diabetes screenings and blood sugar monitoring.

Valdosta Mayor Scott James Matheson presented Moore II with a proclamation recognizing the impact of the Love One Foundation and officially declaring June 13, 2026, as Love One Foundation Day in the City of Valdosta.

For his commitment to community service, Moore II has been selected as the Indianapolis Colts' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2021, 2024 and 2025, becoming the first player in franchise history to receive the honor three times. Throughout his NFL career, he has dedicated countless hours to community outreach in both Valdosta and Indianapolis.

On the field, Moore II is widely regarded as one of the NFL's premier slot cornerbacks. He is one of only seven cornerbacks in NFL history to record at least 20 interceptions and 10 sacks while compiling nearly 600 career tackles.

In November 2023, he became the first player in Indianapolis Colts history to return two interceptions for touchdowns in the same game, accomplishing the feat against the Carolina Panthers.

Moore II's accomplishments have earned him numerous honors. He was inducted into the Valdosta State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024 and the Gulf South Conference Hall of Fame in 2023. In 2020, he was named to the Gulf South Conference All-Decade Team.

During his standout career with the Blazers, Moore II earned AFCA All-America honors in 2016, becoming the 13th player in program history to receive the distinction. He also earned first-team All-Gulf South Conference honors and USA Today Second Team All-America recognition during his first three seasons. As a senior, he transitioned to safety and collected first-team All-Gulf South Conference and second-team all-region honors while also being named to the GSC Fall All-Academic Team.

Over 46 career games at Valdosta State, Moore II recorded 171 tackles, including 117 solo stops, along with 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and 11 interceptions, which rank fifth in program history. He also returned two interceptions for touchdowns during his collegiate career.

Moore II helped lead the Blazers to a 33-13 overall record and a 19-9 Gulf South Conference mark, advancing to the NCAA Division II Playoffs three times, including a national quarterfinal appearance in 2014.
