Play Suspended Due to Darkness at Argonaut Invitational; Blazers Currently Ninth

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Valdosta State men's golf team sits ninth when play was suspended due to darkness Monday evening at the 2026 Argonaut Invitational hosted by top-ranked West Florida on the par 72, 6,903-yard Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla.

The second round was halted with approximately three holes remaining for some players.  Top-ranked West Florida leads the 15-team field to that point.  The field will complete the second round Tuesday morning and play the final round immediately following.

The Blazers carded an opening round 293 and are currently ninth at 8-over with a few players needing to complete three holes to finish the second round.   Blazer junior Alexander Nilehn is 2-over so far with two holes remaining in the second round after opening with a 2-under 70 in the first round.
