Men’s Golf Tied for Eighth Following Two Rounds of Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou

VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team sits tied for eighth following two rounds of the 2026 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta.  The Blazers carded a 4-under 284 and a even par 288 for a 572 score heading into Tuesday's final round.  Junior Alex Nilehn sits tied for fourth with a 6-under 138 on rounds of 71 and 67.

No. 21 Lincoln Memorial leads the 16-team field with a 24-under 552 score, followed by No. 11 Columbus State (555), No. 20 Barry (560), No. 3 West Florida (561) and No. 4 Florida Southern rounds out the top five with a 563 score for the first 36-holes.  Tampa and No. 13  Nova Southeastern are tied for sixth at 7-under 569, while VSU and No. 22 Rollins were tied for eighth at 4-under 572. 
 
Individually, Lincoln Memorial's Harry Dickens leads the field with a staggering 13-under 131 on rounds of 67 and 64.  Nilehn is tied for fourth to lead the team for the Blazers as he had on eagle on Monday.  VSU finished with two eagles among the team players as senior Landon Bassford also had an eagle, while senior Joshua Burki had two eagles playing as an individual.
