VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State football program announced its 2026 signing class Wednesday, Feb. 4, under second-year head coach
Graham Craig. The class features 37 players, including 21 from Georgia and 16 from Florida.
"The Blazer football staff is extremely excited about today's high school signing class," Craig said. "We placed a strong emphasis on the defensive front. Several of these signees are early enrollees already on campus and working with our team. Our staff did an outstanding job with this class, as the process began last spring by prioritizing relationships with high school programs. As discussed when we started this journey last year, high school signees are the foundation of Blazer Football, and we emphasized that throughout our 2026 class. We want to thank all of the high school coaches who opened their doors and welcomed us on campus throughout the recruiting process."
The class features 11 offensive players from Georgia and five from Florida, while their are ten players on defense from Georgia and 11 from Florida. The class features two quarterbacks, one running back, two tight ends, six wide receivers, five offensive linemen, seven defensive linemen, three outside linebackers, two inside linebackers and nine defensive backs.
