VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State Athletics announced a new partnership with Zaxby's located at 1620 N Ashley St. in Valdosta, strengthening the department's commitment to community engagement while creating unique fan experiences throughout the Blazers' athletic seasons.
As part of the partnership, Valdosta State Athletics and Zaxby's will launch the return of Blazer Days, beginning December 19 and continuing once a month through May. On each Blazer Day, a portion of proceeds from the North Ashley Street Zaxby's location will be donated directly to the VSU Athletic Department.
Additional Blazer Day dates in 2026 include December 19, January 15, February 21, March 13, April 17, and May 15.
"We are excited to partner with Zaxby's on North Ashley Street, a brand that has a strong presence in our community and a shared commitment to supporting Valdosta State Athletics," said Troy Katen, VSU Director of Athletics. "This partnership creates meaningful opportunities to engage our fans, support our student-athletes, and give back to the community in a fun and impactful way."
The partnership also includes in-game promotions throughout the Blazer men's basketball season. If the Blazers record four or more dunks during a home game, all VSU students in attendance will receive a free buy-one-get-one (BOGO) coupon to Zaxby's. Additional Zaxby's coupons will be distributed to children 12 and under in attendance at each of the Blazers remaining home contests.

The partnership between Valdosta State Athletics and Zaxby's enhances brand visibility for both organizations while strengthening connections with Blazer fans and the Valdosta community through shared experiences, charitable giving, and gameday engagement.
