VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State men's basketball returns to The Complex on Thursday, Jan. 15, hosting Montevallo in a Gulf South Conference matchup set for 8 p.m..

The Blazers come into the contest riding momentum from a 75–69 road victory at Christian Brothers on Jan. 10, where Valdosta State put together a balanced effort on both ends of the floor. VSU controlled the tempo for much of the game, using efficient shooting, strong interior play, and timely defensive stops to hold off a late push from the Buccaneers. The Blazers also benefited from depth and unselfish ball movement, allowing them to close out the road win in a challenging conference environment.

Valdosta State will look to carry that confidence into Thursday night's matchup as Gulf South Conference play continues. The Blazers have relied on balanced scoring and physical play in the paint throughout the season and will aim to protect home court against a disciplined Montevallo squad.

Montevallo brings a tough defensive approach and will test the Blazers' execution and consistency. Controlling the glass and maintaining defensive intensity will be key factors as VSU looks to secure another important conference win.
