VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Valdosta State Red Hots and cheer will be heading to Daytona Beach, Fla. this week as each team looks to bring home a National Championship back to Titletown. There will be a sendoff for both teams tomorrow, April 9 at 10:45 a.m. in The Complex parking lot.

Last season, the Valdosta State Red Hots Dance Team finished second with a score of 93.9143 in the Hip-Hop Division II Finals. The Red Hots also placed second in the Jazz Division II finals with a score of 91.3143. In addition, the VSU cheerleading squad placed sixth in the Intermediate All Girls Division II Finals at the 2024 NCA & NDA College National Championship.

Cheer will compete on Thursday, April 10 at 6:04 p.m. in OC Arena in the Intermediate All-Girl Division II. As for the Red Hots, they will perform on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Jazz Division II before competing on Friday, April 11 at 11:12 a.m. in the Hip Hop Division II division.
