VALDOSTA, Ga. – The No. 2 Valdosta State men's tennis team won its 31
st-straight match with a 4-1 victory over No. 11 Florida Southern Saturday afternoon.

th nationally, won 6-2 over No. 44 duo of Chris Fok Kow and Mario Garoz.
VSU took a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-3 win by Skerbatis at No. 4 singles over Hewitt. The Mocs trimmed the deficit to 2-1 with a win by No. 56 Garoz over junior
Jerome Iaconi at No. 3, 6-4, 6-4, but the Blazers kept the pressure on as Van Wijk won 6-4, 7-5 at No. 6 over Edorado Melindo and then clinched the match at No. 2 as Destouet, ranked No. 21 nationally, won 6-3, 7-6 (7-0) over Fok Kow for the 4-1 victory.
The Blazers return to the road on Tuesday at No. 20 Embry-Riddle at 2 p.m., before returning home for Senior Day on Friday versus No. 35 Georgia College at 2 p.m. in the final regular season match of the season.
