VALDOSTA, Ga. – There will be a Welcome Home Celebration on Sunday, May 26, at 2:30 p.m., at VSU Complex Parking Lot for the 2024 NCAA Division II National Champion Blazer men's tennis team. 
 
Come out and welcome home the team following its thrilling performance last week at the national championship rounds in Altamonte Springs, Fla.  VSU won its ninth national title overall and third in men's tennis on Saturday with a thrilling 4-3 win over Flagler in a match for the ages.  The teams battled through heat and humidity as Blazer senior Christian Wedel won five of the final six games in the third set at No. 6 singles to claim the national title.
