VALDOSTA, Ga. – All Blazer fans are encouraged to come to The Complex Loading Dock Friday morning at 11:50 a.m., to help send off the Valdosta State women's basketball team as it heads to Birmingham, Ala., for the Gulf South Conference semifinals and championship this weekend.  
 
The Lady Blazers are the top-seed in the GSC Championship and will face No. 4-seed Auburn Montgomery on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at the Pete Hanna Center on the campus of Samford University.  VSU enters after winning the Gulf South Conference regular season with a 27-2 record overall and went 23-1 in league play, while AUM is 20-9 and went 17-7 in conference play.  VSU has won 24-straight games, marking a school-record for consecutive wins and the longest current winning streak in NCAA Division II women's basketball.  
 
Come on out to The Complex on Friday morning to help send off the Lady Blazers in their quest for a fourth Gulf South Conference tournament title!
