VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State men's golf team is scheduled to head to the Milton Makeup on Monday and Tuesday at Miami Shores Country Club in Miami Shores, Fla.
The tournament was added as the Copperhead Championship was cancelled due to Hurricane Milton. The Milton Makeup features ten teams, including the Blazers, who are 21
st in the Scoreboard powered by clippd rankings. No. 7 Lee, along with VSU are the only teams ranked in the top 25 of the rankings. Nova Southeastern (28), Flagler (44), host Barry (46), Union (63), Lynn (64), Tampa (73) and Division I Florida Gulf Coast round out the field.
According to the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll, Lee is ninth, while Nova Southeastern is 11
th and Barry is 17
th. Flagler, Lynn, Tampa, VSU and Union all are among others receiving votes.

The Blazer lineup features senior

Alexander Nilehn. The Blazers are coming off a ninth-place finish at the Hurricane Fall Invitational Oct. 7-8 at Doublegate Country Club in Albany, Ga. There, VSU finished with an 871 score (290-289-292) as Long carded a final round 69 to finish tied for seventh at 6-under 210 to lead the team. Sebbag tied for 21
st at 1-under 215.
The tournament will conclude the fall portion of the Blazer schedule as the team will return to the links in February, 2025, for the Matlock Collegiate, scheduled for Feb. 10-11, in Lakeland, Fla., at Lone Palm Golf Club.
