VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State women's soccer team concludes its four-match home stand with Christian Brothers and Union this week. The Blazers host the Lady Bucs of CBU on Friday at 7 p.m., while VSU welcome Union on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Friday evening is Youth Night at The Soccer Complex with free admission to all youth (8
th grade or younger) and a free t-shirt to the first 100 youth who are wearing their soccer jersey, along with a meet and greet with the VSU soccer team.
VSU enters the week with a 3-2-3 record overall and a 1-2-1 mark in the Gulf South Conference play, following a tie Sunday versus West Alabama. UWA held a 1-0 lead 85+ minutes into the contest, before junior

st minutes was the difference. VSU outshot the Charger 19-12 and had multiple good looks on target, but were just unable to find the back of the net.
This season, the Blazers are led by senior
Ana Moleka who has 13 points on five goals and she is tied for a team-high three assists. Moleka has 14 shots (.357) with 10 on target (.714) and one game winner. Decenzo is second on the team in scoring with nine points on three goals and three assists. She has 11 shots (.273) with six on frame (.545) and one game winner. Junior
Molly Wooldridge is third in scoring with seven points on three goals and one assist. Wooldridge leads the team with 21 shots (.143) with ten on goal (.476) and one game winner.
As a team, the Blazers have scored 16 goals with 13 assists for 45 points, while registering 114 shots (.140) with 61 on frame (.535) and three game winners, while going 1 for 2 in penalty kicks.
In goal, freshman
Tori Vliet is 2-2-1 in 483:37 minutes with a 1.49 goals against average. She has allowed eight goals with 15 saves and faced 52 shots. Sophomore
Claire Timberlake earned her first start of the season on Sunday in the 1-1 tie and has played 101:23 minutes with an 0.89 GAA, four saves and faced 12 shots. Junior
Emma Pruett has played in two games with one start and 1-0-1 record in 135 minutes with two saves and one shutout while facing 11 shots. As a team, the Blazers have a 1.25 GA allowing ten goals with 21 saves, one shutout and faced 75 shots. Head coach

th season of coaching.
Nationally speaking, the Blazers are second in the GSC and 15
th nationally in corner kicks per game at a 6.88 clip as they have 55 corners for the season. VSU leads the GSC in shots on goal per game at 7.62 for 50
th nationally, while the Blazers are 19
th nationally and second in the GSC in total assists (13). VSU is fourth in the league in goals scored (16) for 32
nd nationally and fourth in the league in points (45) for 33
rd nationally. Individually, Decenzo and Moleka are tied for second in the league in assists (3) for 31
st nationally, while Moleka is 18
th nationally and second in the league in total goals (5), while she is 17

CBU enters with a 3-3-2 record overall and a 1-2 mark in the GSC. The Lady Bucs are coming off a win over Mississippi College (1-0) and a loss to Delta State (1-0) this past weekend. DSU scored in the 81
st minute for the only goal of that match, while CBU won its first game against the Choctaws since 2014 as Lia Haggstrom scored at the 17:14 mark, while MC held a 12-7 lead in shots.
This season, the Lady Bucs are led by Flavia Iorio with two goals and four points. She has seven shots and four on target with one game winner. Haggstrom and Alice Legendahl are tied for second in scoring each with one goal and one assist for three points. Haggstrom leads the team with 14 shots (.071) and eight on frame (.571) and has one game winner. Legendahl has three shots and two on target with one game winner.
In goal, Chloe Hillyer is 3-2-1 on the year in 630 minutes of action, allowing four goals (0.57 GAA) with 26 saves (.867) and four shutouts while facing 76 shots. Gemma Crowe is 0-1-1 in two games played for 90 minutes. Hillyer is eighth nationally in shutouts, while she is 30
th in save percentage (.867) for fourth in the GSC and she also is fourth in the league in GAA (0.571) for 37

VSU leads the all-time series with CBU 7-4-1, but the Lady Bucs have won the last two in the series and gone 4-2-1 over the last seven matchups. VSU leads the series in Valdosta, 3-1-1, but CBU won in Valdosta on Oct. 17, 2021, with a 1-0 victory on a CBU goal in the 86
th minute.
Union enters the week with a 3-3-1 record overall and a 2-1 mark in the GSC. The Lady Bulldogs will play at West Georgia on Friday, before heading South to Titletown for Sunday's matchup. Union downed Delta State last week 3-0 and lost to Mississippi College 1-0. MC scored the winning goal at the 2:02 mark into the contest.
Individually, Madison Woolridge leads the team with three goals and six points. She has a team-high ten shots (.300) with eight on target (.800), 1-1 in penalty kicks and one game winner. Rebekah Jackson is second in scoring with four points on one goal and two assists. She has eight shots (.125) and two on frame (.250). In goal, Rylee Iorio is 2-2-1 this season in 495 minutes with seven goals allowed (1.27 GAA), 27 saves (.794) and two shutouts in 79 shots faced. Kirsten LaVallee is 1-1 in 123:19 minutes with five goals allowed, seven saves and faced 21 shots. Iorio is 77
th nationally and tops in the league in saves per game at 4.5, while she is fourth in the league in total saves (27).
VSU leads the all-time series with Union 6-2-2, but the Lady Bulldogs snapped a four-match winning streak by the Blazers last season with a 1-0 victory on Oct. 7, 2022, in Jackson, Tenn. In that game, Union scored the lone goal in the 65
th minute from Sylvana Kempka as VSU held an 18-8 lead in shots and a 9-5 lead in shots on goal. The Blazers are 3-0-2 at home against Union and have won four of the last five matches in the series.
