VALDOSTA, Ga. – A total of sixty (60) Valdosta State student-athletes were name to the Gulf South Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Friday.  In addition, graduate men's cross country runner Logan Kraus, along with senior football wide receiver Victor Talley, senior defensive lineman Torren Calhoun and sophomore long snapper Brett Buckridge earned Academic All-GSC honors.
 
In all, there were 1,163 student-athletes named to the academic honor roll from the league, while 705 student-athletes had a 3.5 grade-point average or better, which is a 52 percent increase from Fall 2021, including 178 with a 4.0 GPA.
