DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Following an hour and 40-minute weather delay prior to the start of the match, the Valdosta State women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at Embry-Riddle Thursday evening. VSU fell to 1-1-1 on the year, while ERAU improved to 5-0.
The match started at approximately 7:40 p.m., after the original 6 p.m. start time, as the Eagles took control early with two goals from Marie Myhrvold Seim in a span of 3:21 midway through the first half. Myhrvold Seim's first goal came via penalty kick at the 17:23 mark, and the second came at the 20:34 mark off an assist from Isabelle Navren.
The Blazers had some chances with four corner kick opportunities in the first half, but were unable to convert. For the first half, VSU had four shots with none on target, while ERAU had six shots with the two scores.

Victoria Bahr. VSU tallied eight corners for the game, while ERAU had six. Worley was named the Guardian Bank Blazer Player of the Game following her one shot on goal in 59 minutes. Five different Blazers each had one shot in the contest.

Emma Pruett played all 90 minutes, while ERAU's Oona Jokinen produced her third-straight clean sheet and recorded one save. Myhrvold Seim paced the Eagles with three shots, two on frame and two goals.
