First Set (STA, 25, VSU 19)

Murray then came up with another kill in the set to bring the Blazers within seven at 14-7, but the Hawks went on a four-point run to solidify a 19-8 advantage.  After an attack error from STA, the Blazers were able to get a couple of points on the board from kills by graduate student Mallory Roney and freshman Ava Young for a 20-10 score.

Young came up with a huge block deep in the set to Bring the Blazers within 10, once again at 23-13, but a service error from the Blazers allowed the Hawks to come up with the set point and finish the set, 25-13.
