Tammy Reyes-Perez recorded double-doubles, improving the Blazers' record to 5-5 on the year.

First Set:
VSU started off the first set with a kill by graduate student
Deona Mims, as the set went back-and-forth between both teams. Finally, the Blazers had some breathing room at 11-8, before the Bobcats called a timeout.  GC won the point following the timeout, and looked to scratch back, but an attack error by GC pushed the VSU lead back to three at 12-9.Â

The Bobcats rallied a few points off with several blocks, tying the game at 12. Reyes-Perez recorded a kill for a 15-13, Moments later, a kill from graduate student
Grace Daugherty pushed the lead back to three for the Blazers at 17-14.  VSU extended the lead to 20-15 and the second timeout by the Bobcats.  GC scored the next three points, but following a VSU timeout, VSU took the first set 25-22.

Second Set:
Georgia College started off the set with the first point from a Blazer hitting error. A kill by Stroehlein tied the set at two.  VSU could take the with a small rally for a 9-6 advantage.  GC tied the set at 13, but the Blazers had the answer, once again, pushing the lead to 17-15 and then 20-16.  VSU extended the run to 22-17 and a kill from Daugherty gave VSU a 25-18 victory in the second set and a 2-0 lead.

Third Set:
VSU took an early 4-2 lead in the third set, but GC had the answer this time and rattled off points for a 9-5 lead.  The Bobcats extended the lead to 12-6 as a kill from sophomore Kennedy Deluca ended the spurt.  GC built the lead to 15-8 and led by as many as ten in the set, but VSU continued to fight back with a rally making the score 22-16 before a Bobcat timeout.Â

Coming out of the timeout, two Bobcat hitting errors and a kill by freshman
Caitlin Warnshuis, brought the score to 23-19. Out of a timeout by the Bobcats, each time scored two points and GC won the set, 25-21.

Fourth Set:
A kill by Stroehlein brought the score to 8-7, in favor of GC early in the fourth set. With Reyes-Perez back at the serving line, the Blazers tied the game at eight and took the lead off a hitting error by the Bobcats. A kill by Mims gave the Blazers a 13-10 lead and forced the Bobcats into a timeout.

The Bobcats took their final timeout trailing 19-14.  Later, a kill from senior
Jessie Mooney brought the score to 23-19 as VSU looked to finish the set. Following the final VSU timeout, the Blazers won the final set 25-22 for the victory.

Inside the Numbers:
The Blazers finished with 85 digs and 59 kills as Strohlein recorded another double-double of the season tallying 19 digs and 12 kills. Following behind Stroehlein in kills was Mims and Daugherty with 11. Redshirt freshman
Lyara Rosario led VSU in digs with 30, as Reyes-Perez added 11 kills and 43 assists, recording a double-double. The blazers had three aces with one each from Reyes-Perez, Rosario, and Stroehlein. Also, nine blocks were recorded for the Blazers. Â
