Choctaw Trails has been the host for two NCAA DII national cross-country championships (1986, 1988). There have also been several NCAA Region Championships contested there, as well as a number of GSC meets.
The beauty of the course is the mix of open rolling hills and wooded trails. It is also regarded as a great spectator course. The outer loop is a 5k (Twice for 10k races). There is a smaller loop for the 4k (Twice for the 8k races), and another smaller loop for 3k (Twice for 6k races).
For this race, there will be live results and the ability to watch live on FloSports. Click on the links to the right for both live results and how to watch the championships on FloSports.
After the conclusion of both races, at approximately 11:15 a.m., there will be an awards ceremony where First Team All-GSC and Second Team All-GSC awards will be announced along with Runner of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
