Aiken, S.C.- The Valdosta State volleyball team split a doubleheader on Saturday, as they defeated Francis Marion and fell to undefeated USC-Aiken.

- VSU had double-digit kills throughout the entire match, with a match-high 16 Â

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game Two)
- VSU struggled against the undefeated Pacers, with a 1.24 hitting percentage.
- The Pacers used a 4-0 run to finish off VSU in the first set, 25-17.
- A slow start in the second set allowed for the Pacers to take a 2-0 set lead.
- In the final set, VSU started hot with a 4-0 lead.
- USC-Aiken took advantage of five VSU errors, to take the set and the match.

- VSU committed 16 errors in the loss , while only committing seven in the win over Francis Marion
- Junior Rebecca Sills totaled 27 digs between both matches.
- Through both matches, VSU had 73 kills in 208 swings, good for .350 percentage.
- Junior Tammy Reyes Perez totaled 46 assists on Saturday afternoon
- The Blazers totaled eight aces between both matches, including seven against Francis Marion.
