VALDOSTA, Ga. – Tickets are on sale now for the 2019 NCAA Division II Football Second Round matchup between top-ranked Valdosta State and No. 20 West Florida, scheduled for a 1 p.m. kick, Saturday, November 30 at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.  
 
The Blazers are 10-0 and earned the first round bye in NCAA Super Region Two, while West Florida is 9-2 and won at No. 16 Wingate 38-17 yesterday in the first round of the playoffs.  VSU won a 26-21 thriller in the regular season home finale versus West Florida on Nov. 9.  
 
Tickets for the Nov. 30 game are on sale in the VSU Athletic Ticket Office.  Current season ticket holders will have until Monday, Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. ET to purchase their current seats.  All unsold tickets after 12 p.m. on Nov. 25 will be available to the general public.  Online sales began Nov. 18 at 10 a.m., and will go through Friday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET.  
 
Prices for tickets for the Nov. 30 game are $18 for reserved seats and all ages.  The reserved seating only is available behind the home team bench (Sections C and D).  Adult general admission tickets are $10 and Senior Citizen tickets (65 and older) and Youth (Ages 5-College Student with ID) are $5.  There will be no pass list available for this game and any future playoff game at VSU.  Call 229-333-SEAT for more information on tickets for the postseason.


This marks the 17^th trip to the NCAA postseason for the Blazers, as the team is 26-12 all-time in the championship.  VSU is the defending national champion and has won titles in 2004, 2007, 2012 and last season.  The 26 NCAA postseason victories are good for fifth all-time in NCAA Division II history and third-most among current NCA Division II member institutions (Northwest Missouri State with 48 and Grand Valley State with 35).  
 
Last season VSU also earned the top-seed and the first round bye.  The Blazers downed Bowie State in the second round and Lenoir-Rhyne in the quarterfinal round both in Valdosta.  The Blazers then defeated Notre Dame (Ohio) in the national semifinals in Valdosta and then won a 49-47 thriller over Ferris State in the national championship game in McKinney, Texas.
 
This year's national championship returns to McKinney, Texas, and McKinney ISD Stadium and will be played Dec. 21.  The national championship will be broadcast on ESPNU.
