VALDOSTA, Ga. - For the second straight season, the Valdosta State Lady Blazers have earned a trip to the round of 64 at the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
Valdosta State, who finished the regular season at 21-8, will compete as the No. 7 seed in the South Regional Tournament against No. 2 ranked Florida Southern (25-4). The tournament will kick off on Friday, March 9th at the host site of top-seeded Union University in Jackson, Tenn. Times for the games have yet to be determined.
Remaining teams in the tournament include No. 3 North Alabama (24-4), who will square off with No. 6 Lee (23-7), as well as No. 4 Embry-Riddle (23-7), who will match up with No. 5 Eckerd (22-7). No. 8 Clark Atlanta (20-8) rounds out the bracket as a representative of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and will face No. 1 Union (28-3) in the opening round on Friday.

TICKETS
Tickets will be available at the Fred DeLay Gymnasium ticket office at the front (south) entrance on hour prior to the first game of each day. Tickets will be available at the game and will not be sold online. The prices for tickets are $10 for reserve, $7 for general admission, $5 for students (college or younger)/military with ID. Once tickets are purchased by the fans, the teams will be provided cards to pass out to up to 100 fans to be able to sit behind their team's bench.
Fred DeLay Gymnasium is located in the center of campus facing south. It is directly off the south entrance facing the soccer, baseball and softball fields. Parking is available to the right and left of the main entrance to the gymnasium. The address to the campus is 1050 Union University Drive; Jackson, TN 38305. There are entrances to the campus from Country Club Lane (south), Union University Drive (north) and Pleasant Plains Extended (west).
