VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Valdosta State volleyball team stayed right with Alabama-Huntsville throughout a Friday night Gulf South Conference matchup in Huntsville, Ala., but the Chargers edged out the Blazers in all three sets to take a 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-21) win.
Lindsey Robinson put together one of her strongest offensive outings of the season in the middle with 13 kills and a .320 hitting percentage, but UAH out hit the Blazers .237 to .140 as a team. In addition, the Charger defense racked up 18 block assists in the contest to hold Valdosta State at bay.
The Chargers used a balanced effort on offense that saw seven players register at least one kill. No one player reached double digit figures in the kill column, but the team committed just 13 hitting errors in 114 attempts in front of their home crowd.
With the loss, the Blazers fell to 7-4 overall and 2-1 in GSC play. Meanwhile, the Chargers lifted their record to 11-4 overall and improved to 2-0 against conference opponents.

Sara Dandridge recorded her second straight double-double and her fourth over the course of the last five contests. On the year, Dandridge has six.
