VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State women's basketball team is set to compete in a semifinal round matchup on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. EST against the No. 3 seeded Lee Lady Flames at Pete Hanna Center in Birmingham, Ala.

The Valdosta State Lady Blazers will take a three-game winning streak and a dominating first round win into the GSC Tournament Semifinals on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. EST against the Lee Flames. Valdosta State represents the No. 2 seed in the tournament, while Lee defeated Union on Tuesday night in the opening round to advance as the No. 3 seed.
 
Should the Lady Blazers win on Saturday, the team would advance to the GSC Championship on Sunday, March 5^th. The women's final is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, with the men's championship matchup to follow at 4:30 p.m.
