In her tenure, Thomas significantly improved and expanded the visibility of the athletic department in local, regional and national markets. Under her leadership, Thomas University Athletics underwent a complete website redesign, and she oversaw strategic partnerships with the Urban Edge Network and HomeTown Ticketing, enhancing the department's digital presence and fan experience while also expanding its communications and marketing.

Prior to arriving at Thomas University, Thomas gained extensive experience in collegiate athletics communications and statistics. She has served as a statistician for baseball, basketball, football, soccer and volleyball programs at the NAIA and NCAA Division I, II and III levels.
