Tim Vaughn

Tim Vaughn is currently working as a graduate assistant with the men's basketball team at Valdosta State University whilst studying for his graduate degree at that institution. He hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and obtained his bachelor's degree in Sport Management at Lee University, where he built up a solid background in athletic operations, event management, and leadership.

During his time at the college level, Tim acquired valuable experience in the areas of recreation, youth development, and event operations. In his role as a Recreation Specialist with the City of Chattanooga Parks & Outdoors, he arranged community events, coordinated sports tournaments, and provided guidance to local young people. He also acted as a summer camp counselor for the Boys & Girls Club, designing interesting educational activities and building up positive relationships with the children. Furthermore, Tim worked at the Lee University basketball camps, helping with the camp operations, organizing drills, looking after the inventory and the concessions, and assisting with event planning and implementation.

Tim, who was a student-athlete at the Division II level, is enthusiastic about college sports and hopes to one day become an Athletic Director. In his capacity with the Blazers' men's basketball team, he is dedicated to supporting the student-athletes while at the same time working on developing his leadership skills in the area of collegiate athletics.
