Luther Yoder is a graduate student in the Master of Business Administration program at Valdosta State University. He is originally from Arcola, Illinois, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from Eastern Illinois University. There, he built a solid foundation in athletic operations and sports administration.
During his college years, Luther gained important experience with Eastern Illinois Football. He started as a Student Equipment Manager and moved up to Head Student Equipment Manager, later working as a Football Equipment Intern. In these roles, he managed daily equipment operations, supervised student staff, coordinated practice and game-day logistics, and collaborated closely with coaches and operations staff to support the football program. He also worked as Assistant Sports Editor for the Daily Eastern News, where he assigned stories, wrote sports coverage, and edited content for publication.
Luther has a strong passion for collegiate athletics. He looks forward to developing a career in athletic operations and administration. He is dedicated to supporting student-athletes and helping create a well-organized, championship-level environment behind the scenes.
