Joshua Brown serves as a facilities and operations graduate assistant. Being from Valdosta, Georgia, he completed his secondary education at Lowndes High School before starting his college football career at Troy University. He then played at Blinn College and Henderson State University before going back to his home town to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Valdosta State University.
During his time at the collegiate level, Josh took part in NCAA Division I, Division II, and junior college football, which gave him a special insight into top-level football programs. While playing with the Blazer football team, he contributed to Valdosta State winning the Gulf South Conference title in both 2024 and 2025 and took part in the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship game. He was chosen for the VSU Football Leadership Council, received recognition on the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List, and was named a Great American Conference All-Conference selection whilst at Henderson State.
Josh is now moving from being a player to taking on the role of graduate assistant, and he is enthusiastic about mentoring the student-athletes as well as supporting all the different parts of the football program. He also likes to give something back to the community by coaching football, acting as a basketball referee, and serving as a baseball umpire.
