Jiabao Wu is currently serving as a graduate assistant for the Athletics department at Valdosta State University, carrying out duties in the areas of facilities and game operations while obtaining a Masters of Communications & Business. Having previously been a student-athlete on a women's basketball team at the collegiate level, she graduated from Doane University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration. During her time there she was recognized on the Dean’s List seven times and was named a 2025 NAIA Winter Sport Daktronics Scholar-Athlete.
Prior to her position at Valdosta State, Wu was a Graduate Assistant at Maryville University, where she helped with the NCAA Division II game-day operations, facility management, event coordination, and staffing. Additionally, she obtained experience in sports information and media during her time at Doane University and through internships with Manchester United FC, Atlético Madrid FC, and William Morris Endeavor.
Wu has a varied background as a student-athlete and as a professional in the field of athletics, having obtained experience in game operations, facilities, event management, and sports media. She acquired international event experience through her participation in the FIFA Club World Cup and the NCAA leadership programs.
