Brandon Cho joins the Valdosta State men's golf program as a graduate assistant after a standout collegiate playing career with the Blazers. Over four seasons, Cho competed in 16 tournaments and 46 rounds, posting a career 75.7 stroke average with 38 rounds in the 70s and a career-low round of 70 at the 2024 Saint Leo Invitational. During his junior campaign in 2023-24, he led the team with a 73.9 scoring average across 31 rounds, recorded 29 rounds in the 70s, tied for sixth at the Gulf South Conference Championship, and earned a top-10 finish with a tie for eighth at the Bobcat Invitational. A three-time Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll selection and 2023-24 GSC All-Academic Team honoree, Cho combined success in the classroom with consistent performance on the course. Prior to his breakout junior season, he competed in three tournaments as a redshirt freshman in 2021-22, highlighted by a low round of 74 at the Gulf South Conference Championship, before playing two events as a sophomore in 2022-23. He now brings his competitive experience, academic excellence, and knowledge of the Blazer program to Valdosta State as a graduate assistant for the men's golf team.
