Ashton Middleton joins the Valdosta State cross country program as a graduate assistant after a successful collegiate volleyball career. Prior to arriving at VSU, Middleton spent two seasons at Lee University (2022-23), where she appeared in 64 matches and totaled 63 kills with a .182 hitting percentage, while serving as the team's primary setter with 1,367 assists, 59 service aces, 465 digs, 18 total blocks, and two solo blocks. She was also recognized for her work in the classroom as a member of the 2022 Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll. Middleton concluded her playing career as a Blazer during the 2025 season, appearing in 15 matches and recording 11 assists and three digs. She now brings her collegiate playing experience, leadership, and knowledge of NCAA athletics to Valdosta State as a graduate assistant, where she assists the Blazers' cross country program.
