Ansley DeCenzo is in her second year as the Athletic Administration Graduate Assistant at Valdosta State University, supporting department operations, communications and game-day promotions across VSU's athletic programs.
DeCenzo graduated from Valdosta State in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Sports Journalism. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Communication at VSU, with an anticipated graduation of spring 2027.
A four-year member of the VSU Women's Soccer team from 2021 to 2025, DeCenzo ranked 19th nationally in NCAA Division II assists during the 2023 season and was named a Southeast All-American Athlete in 2021.
She has also worked in broadcast and media roles with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Northwoods League's Minot Hot Tots, and Tallo. DeCenzo also founded and serves as president of the Wellness Society at VSU and is a member of the Valdosta Communication Association.
