Matt Seib

Joining the Valdosta State program for the 2015 season, Matt Seib enters the coaching ranks as a graduate assistant goalkeeper coach.

Seib brings collegiate playing experience to the program, after having played at Berry College in Rome, Ga., where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science.

The Blazers' newest coach brings a strong set of credentials to the staff with a USSF C license, along with an NSCAA National Diploma in GK I and II.

"I am excited to have Matt on board with us at VSU. He is from Georgia and knows the state very well for recruiting," said Head Coach Rebecca Nolin. "He has experience coaching females at the high school and club level, and his calm demeanor and competitive nature will provide a spark within the program."

Seib's responsibilities include but are not limited to: training the goalkeepers on a daily basis, recruiting, scouting reports, and video breakdown.
