PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Played one year at St. Johns River State College…Recorded 51 games hitting an average of .308 with 48 hits, 25 runs, five doubles, three home runs, 29 RBI, and one stolen base on 156 at bats…Had an on base percentage of .447 and a slugging percentage of .397…In the field recorded 81 putouts and 37 assists with a .922 fielding percentage…On the mound, recorded eight appearances, two losses, one save, 15 strikeouts, and gave up 21 hits, 19 runs, 19 earned runs for a 12.21 ERA…Prior to St. Johns River State College, played one year at Appalachian State University…Went to Avon Park High School in Avon Park, Fla.
