PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Played one season at Hillsborough CC where he hit .374 in 38 games with 46 hits, 24 runs scored, six doubles and drove in 24 ... Walked 11 times and was hit nine times ... Had two sacrifice flies and went 3 for 4 in stolen bases ... Reached base at a .455 clip and slugged .423.
