Pitched in 14 games with 10 of them being starts... Carried a 2-5 record and a 8.42 ERA... Struck out 32 batters and walked 16... Named to the spring GSC Academic Honor Roll.

IN 2023:
Pitched in 6.1 innings for the Blazers, tallying a 2-0 record across four appearances... Allowed six hits, two runs, one earned run, two walks, and struck out six. Held a 1.42 ERA and an opponent batting average of .231.

PRIOR TO VALDOSTA STATE: Played one year at Palm Beach State College…Recorded two appearances, one game started, seven strikeouts, and gave up four hits, one run, and one earned run on five innings pitched…Finished with a 1.80 ERA…Prior to Palm Beach State College, played one year at the University of West Florida…Pitched in five games in his first season with the Argos... Finished with a 1.93 ERA in 9.1 IP and 12 strikeouts... He led the team in Saves with four and limited opponents to a .156 Batting Average... Martens also started one game at third base defensively against Rollins on Feb. 8th... Ranked third in the GSC in Total Saves... Season was cut short due to COVID-19 Outbreak…Before UWF attended Indian River State College and went to Treasure Coast High School in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
