VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State Athletics is proud to announce Valvoline Instant Oil Change as an official corporate partner for the 2026-27 athletic season. The partnership will put Valvoline at the center of the Blazer gameday experience and help VSU bring fans more content, especially when the teams are on the road.

"Valvoline is a great addition to the Blazer family. We are excited to partner with a company that shares our commitment to the Valdosta Community, or fans and create great experiences student-athletes," said Greg Richard, assistant athletic director at Valdosta State.

"We're excited to support the Valdosta State Blazers and be part of something that brings the community together. Yes, we're the place you can count on for a 15-minute oil change, but we also want to be a business our neighbors know, trust and see showing up for the community. Supporting local universities and the students and staff within them is one of the ways we can do that. We're very excited for this partnership. Go Blazers!" said LaDazhia Taylor, marketing specialist for new store growth at Valvoline Instant Oil Change.

A Bigger Presence on Gameday
Throughout the season, Valvoline will be part of the atmosphere at Blazer home contests. Fans will see and hear the brand throughout the gameday experience, from the stadium and arena video boards to public address announcements.

More Blazer Coverage on the Road
Valvoline will also sponsor road trip content on VSU Athletics' social media channels, giving fans more ways to follow the Blazers at away games. The brand will also be featured on "Almost Gameday" posts, the pregame content that builds excitement leading up to kickoff and tip-off.
