Myrtle Beach, SC - The Valdosta State Cheer team opened their season strong, earning two first-place finishes in both the rally and game day routine. 
 

Their strong performances lead them to the opportunity to compete head-to-head with fierce competition such as Clemson, North Carolina A&T, and Mercer. 

Along with the two wins, the VSU Cheer team earned its place to compete in Nationals in April. They will now concentrate on building onto their early success as they move towards Nationals with hard work and dedication.
 

Until Nationals, you can catch them in action at all home Football games as well as their annual Kiddie Clinic on November 6th through the 7th for all Junior Blazer Cheerleaders.
