Myrtle Beach, SC - The Valdosta State University Red Hots kicked off their season last weekend by securing two All-American selections as well as two second-place finishes for the team.
 

Senior Brooklyn Dunlop and sophomore Jadyn White were the individuals recognized among Division I and II dancers as All-Americans.

Valdosta State took part in competition with a number of collegiate teams, such as NC State, James Madison University, East Carolina University, UNC Charlotte, USF, West Virginia University, Elon University and Bowie State University.
 

The Red Hots came second in the D1/D2 Team Dance and also secured second place in the D1/D2 Game Day.
 

For the NDA College Nationals the Red Hots also secured a Silver Paid Bid Qualifier, thus adding one more achievement to their season-opening weekend in Myrtle Beach.
 

You can catch the Red Hots perform at any home Football or Basketball game. Competition wise, the Red Hots will be gearing up for Nationals in April.
