VALDOSTA, Ga. – Valdosta State Athletics announced Thursday a new partnership with Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe, naming the local business as the official nutrition supplement provider for Blazer Athletics.

Located at 1531 Baytree Road in Valdosta, Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe will serve as the sole supplier of nutrition supplements for VSU's student-athletes, supporting performance, recovery, and overall wellness.

"This partnership with Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe provides a tremendous advantage for our student-athletes' growth and recovery throughout training and competition," said Michael Doscher, VSU Director of Strength and Conditioning. "Dr. Ed's will help our student-athletes reach their athletic potential by supporting proper nutrition and fueling strategies."

The partnership delivers a comprehensive presence for Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe across Blazer Athletics, including visibility at athletic contests, venue signage, and academic channels. Through this collaboration, Dr. Ed's will serve as a campus wellness partner, emphasizing education, performance nutrition, and long-term athlete health.

Valdosta State Director of Athletics Troy Katen emphasized the importance of aligning with partners who share the department's commitment to student-athlete success.

The partnership with Valdosta State Athletics focuses on connecting Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe with Blazer student-athletes, students, and fans through full brand integration and experiential wellness leadership.

Dr. Ed's Nutrition Shoppe operates five locations nationwide, including Valdosta; Hanover, Mass.; Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Huber Heights, Ohio; and Daytona Beach, Fla. The company partners with industry-leading brands such as Drink LMNT, Transparent Labs, First Phorm, NOW, and others.
