PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Valdosta State men's golf team completed the first two rounds of the 2025 Copperhead Championship on the par 71, 7,209-yard Innisbrook-Copperhead. The 17-team field will play the final round on Tuesday.
The Blazers carded rounds of 308 and 300 for a 608 score as they sit 16
th heading into the final round. Host West Florida leads the 17-team field with a 9-under 559 score, while Lee is second at 563, followed by a tie for third between Wingate and Grand Valley State at 570. Nova Southeastern rounds out the top five with a 574 score.
Individually, UWF's TJ Thompson leads the field with a 4-under 138, while there is a three-way tie for second between Lee's George Cordall, Wingate's Alfie Storer and Grand Valley State's Andrew Gwilliams at 3-under 139. In all 11 players are under par and an additional three sit at even par 142.

rd at 146 on rounds of 75 and 71. Junior
Alexander Nilehn is tied for 48
th with a 149 score on rounds of 76 and 73, while junior
William Carestam is tied for 81
st at 157 with rounds of 79 and 78. Junior
Landon Bassford is 86
th at 159 with rounds of 81 and 78, while senior
Joshua Burki is 87
th 160 after carding rounds of 78 and 82.
