INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  – Coming off the program's Gulf South Conference-leading 16^th tournament title, the Valdosta State men's tennis team will learn Monday evening at 8 p.m. ET where and who it will face in the NCAA postseason tournament.

The Blazers (20-3) won the GSC Championship this season with 4-0 wins over Montevallo, West Alabama and Mississippi College on Apr. 27-29, in Montgomery, Ala.  VSU entered was the top-seeded team in the South Region in the previous NCAA region rankings released last week. 
 
If the Blazers were to earn hosting duties this season, like they did a year ago, the Blazers' portion of the South Regional will be May 13-14 in Valdosta with matches at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 13, and a 1 p.m. final match on May 14.  The two regional site winners will advance to the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis National Championships, scheduled for May 21-25 at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
 
As the automatic qualifier from winning the GSC Championship, the Blazers are assured a spot in the NCAA postseason and will be making their 29^th appearance in the postseason and are 54-26 all-time with two titles (2006 and 2011), along with three runner-up finishes and one third-place finish.  The 28 appearances are tied for second all-time with Barry and Lander, while Rollins leads the way with 35 trips.  The 54 victories in the postseason are the fifth-most all-time in D2 and second in the GSC behind West Florida's 74 victories.  This will be the tenth-straight year VSU has qualified for the postseason.
 
Last season, the Blazers hosted its portion of the regional, sweeping Spring Hill College (4-0) and defeating West Florida, 4-1.  VSU, who was undefeated to that point, and earned the top-seed at the National Championship Rounds, won 4-0 over No. 16-seed Fairmont State and won 4-1 over No. 9-seed Cameron, before falling 4-1 to eventual national champion No. 4-seed Barry in the semifinals for the only loss of the season (21-1).
