VALDOSTA, Ga. - The 2024 Gulf South Conference Cross Country Championships has been moved from Freedom Park, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

Due to the impact of Hurricane Helene on the course and the community, the race has been moved to Choctaw Trails in Clinton, Miss. as Mississippi College will be hosting the event. The event will still be held on Saturday, Oct. 26. This was supposed to be the first time Valdosta State University has hosted the GSC XC Championships.

Valdosta State XC will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 12 as they run in the Chargers XC Invitational in Huntsville, Ala. For more updates on VSU XC, please visit vstateblazers.com
