VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Valdosta State 2022 volleyball home-opener, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. at The Complex, has been moved to Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. at The Complex, the athletic department announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
VSU now will continue on the road this weekend as it travels to Newberry, S.C., for the Newberry College Volleyball Invitational.  The Blazers will battle Southern Wesleyan on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a road match against the host Wolves Friday at 7 p.m.  On Saturday, VSU will face Lees-McRae in a doubleheader beginning 12 p.m., with the first match followed by the second at 4:30 p.m., to conclude the tournament.
