VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Athletic Videoboard on Baytree Road in front of The Complex in Valdosta has been synonymous with Valdosta State Athletics since the mid-1990's. This week a major upgrade was made with the installation of a state-of-the-art LED replacement videoboard.

"We are really excited about the new video board," VSU Director of Athletics Herb Reinhard said.  "It is absolutely state of the art, and will give us the opportunity to provide information on Blazer athletics and the university in general in a manner that I think those driving or walking down Baytree will find interesting."

The new board, purchased from Watchfire, will greatly enhance the VSU athletic department capabilities in promoting all kinds of events, promotions and more.  This new LED videoboard will allow the athletic department to use high-quality digital marketing to get the word out about the Blazers' storied history.  In addition, it will have color ranges in the quintillions and high resolution video clip playback.
