Sonya’s career began in 1995, and during her 4-year career, she quickly established herself as one of the top infielders in both the Gulf South Conference and the country. Sonya constructed a .325 career batting average, with 50 doubles and nine career homers, and in 1999, she became the first Lady Blazer to ever earn All-American honors.
