Had an outstanding career for the red and black on the gridiron as he earned GSC All-Decade honors. While he played for the Blazers, Kenny earned AFCA All-America honors in 2016, becoming the 13th Blazer to do so, while he earned first team all-league honors and USA Today Second Team All-America accolades during his first three seasons. As a senior, he switched position to safety earning first team all-league and second team all-region accolades, while being named to the GSC Fall All-Academic Team. For his career, he played in 46 games with 117 solo tackles and assisted in 54 stops for 171 total tackles. He registered 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. Kenny ended his career with 11 interceptions for fifth-most in school history and scored two touchdowns. He helped lead VSU to a 33-13 record overall and a 19-9 mark in the GSC, including three playoff appearances and a national quarterfinal berth in 2014. He played every game for the Blazers in his first two seasons in 2013 and 2014, and by 2015 he established himself as one of the top defensive backs in the GSC. Following completion of his VSU career, he signed a free agent contract with the New England Patriots in 2017 and then signed with the Indianapolis Colts where he has played since. In 2018, he earned a starting spot for the Colts and, in 2021, he was nominated for the Walter Peyton Man of the Year, which is the highest individual honor in the National Football League. He has had an outstanding NFL career playing in 103 games with 89 starts and 17 interceptions, while becoming the first player in Colts' history to record two pick sixes in a game at Carolina on Nov. 11, 2023. Last spring, he became the eighth Blazer to earn the prestigious honor of being inducted into the GSC Hall of Fame.
