After opening up the season with a 2-2 record, this group of student-athletes flipped a switch and reeled off 10 consecutive victories. On the back of a tremendous defense and an offensive line that was nothing short of legendary, the final win of that ten-game stretch was a 35-7 manhandling of Winston-Salem State. The team produced eight All-Americans and gave VSU football its third National Championship in just eight short years.
