Erin Keller
Erin Keller makes the second consecutive former Lady Blazer to move from the court to the coaches' bench. As a player, she was immediately an emotional leader for the team as soon as she stepped foot on the Valdosta State campus, and Hill will look for her to continue that role as a graduate assistant coach.
"Erin will bring a positive and steady voice. Our team respects her opinion and unquestionable character," Hill said. "She brings so many dynamic qualities that make our staff one of the best in the country at any level."
After spending most of her collegiate career at Mercer University, where she earned her Bachelors in communications with a minor in sociology, she played her final year of eligibility as a Lady Blazer last season as she began work on her Masters in higher education leadership.
After tallying more than 392 points as a Mercer Bear, she provided a defensive presence for the Lady Blazers last season as she played both guard and forward. She put in 107 points in 17 starts last season and saved her best games for the Gulf South Conference tournament where she was in double figures against Arkansas Tech and Delta State.
While at Mercer, Keller was a three-time All-Atlantic Sun Academic Team selection. At East St. John High School she was a two-time first team All-State selection and a McDonald?s All-American nominee.
