Biography

IN 2014 (JUNIOR): Put together the most successful individual season in the history of Blazer softball... Played in and started each of the squad's 63 games as the leadoff center fielder... Tallied team highs in nearly every offensive category with 83 runs scored, 93 hits, 18 doubles, four triples, a .437 batting average, a .939 slugging percentage, a .514 on base percentage, and 27 home runs... Struck out just five times in 213 at bats... Finished as Division II's top home run hitter with 27 long balls on the year... Became the career home run leader in the GSC after hitting her 63rd in the 2014 Division II National Championship Tournament... Set new single season GSC records for home runs (27), runs (83), and total bases (200)... Also set new career GSC marks for slugging percentage (.830) and total bases (538)... Helped Valdosta State secure the GSC Commissioner's Trophy for the third consecutive year after winning the award at the end of the 2014 season... Named the NCAA Elite 89 Winner for the Division II National Softball Championship in Salem, Va... Named the GSC and National Fastpitch Coaches Association National Player of the Week after belting seven homers, eight extra base hits, two walks, one stolen base, a .769 batting average, and a .813 on base percentage in just 13 at bats over the course of the week in mid-March... Named GSC Player of the Week twice... Won third straight GSC Player of the Year award... Named South Region Player of the Year... IN 2013 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in and started 58 of the 59 contests on the year... Led the team to their 5th straight GSC Championship and second straight trip to the NCAA Division II National Softball Championship with team highs in hits (86), runs scored (77), doubles (17), home runs (20), RBI's (57), total bases (163), batting average (.417), and slugging percentage (.791)... Served as a utility player for the squad with time in center field and at shortstop before finishing up the year as the team's everyday second baseman... Won second straight GSC Player of the Year award... Named First Team All-GSC... Named an NFCA All-American... Named to GSC All-Academic Team... Tallied 28 multi-hit games and homered twice in three different games on the year... Displayed ability to deliver in the clutch with a .434 average (23-for-53) with runners in scoring position and a .750 average (6-for-8) with bases loaded...

IN 2012 (FRESHMAN): Started all 63 games as a leadoff hitter and center fielder to help lead the squad to their first ever Division II National Championship... Tallied team high statistics in each of the following categories: runs scored (74), doubles (22), triples (3), homers (16), total bases (175), batting average (.432), RBI's (62), slugging percentage (.764), and stolen bases (14-for-14)...
